You own a school and you have an eye on a teacher. You want to promote him or her to the post of a head teacher, but you feel he isn’t quite ready.

Let the specifications, requirements, responsibility, targets etc be outlined so whoever is applying for that position knows everything about it, and preventing unnecessary expectations on their side.

This also works for promotional purposes. If you already have an employee you want to promote, you can discuss all these with him or her so they ahead of time all that is required of them.
